My First Item : Piano Book
I used strings to create my monogram on the cover of my piano book. The reason why I decided to create a piano book because piano and music has always meant a lot to me. I started playing piano since I was 7 years old. I successfully pass my Grade 8 ABRSM exam with merit in 2017. Throughout these years of playing piano, I have come to learn many songs, be it classical or pop songs. I have also learn many kinds of techniques to ensure that it sounds expressive when playing the piano. Through playing piano, I am able to express my emotions and also looking through back all the songs that i have learnt while creating this piano book brings back nostalgic feeling towards me. Today, I'm able to play the piano well and I'm thankful that I was determined enough overcome many challenges and failures.
My Second Item : A box filled with self-made
postcards of places I travelled
I have decided to made postcards with pictures of countries that I travelled to with my family. All these pictures taken are very precious to me because all of those unforgettable memories are able to be captured and can be kept forever. I created a box to keep all these postcards. Behind of each postcards are drawn with my monogram. I used marbling painting as a background for every of my postcards. I have also created the frame with different patterns to create a free-flow effect that blends well with marbling painting. As there are still spaces in the box, I'm planning to add more self-made postcards int he future as I'm going to travel to Vietnam this year! While making the 2nd item, I realised that i should be thankful that I'm able to travel to many countries with my family and I personally LOVE travelling too.
ITEM 3: Lightbulb Decoration
I have decided to use a lightbulb and a black frame to make a decoration for my garden or my dining room. I decided to fill the lightbulb with variety of rice beans. I also cut the money plant from my mom's garden to wrap around the black frame. As for my monogram, I use the rice beans to make one.
